PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Robert Morris University women's lacrosse team has added Shea Swartwout as its newest assistant coach, the program announced today.
Swartwout joins assistant Cacki Helmer and head coach Katrina Silva on the sidelines for RMU in 2022 as the Colonials look to defend their 2021 MAC Championship at Joe Walton Memorial Stadium.
Swartwout recently graduated from Niagara University, where she spent five seasons as a member of the women's lacrosse team and earned her masters degree in Sports Management in 2021.
A standout for the Purple Eagles both on and off the field, Swartwout was a three-time MAAC All-Academic Team member as well as a team captain starting in 2019.
A native of Cortland, N.Y., the First-Team All MAAC honoree led NU in scoring each of her last two seasons. Playing as a midfielder, she amassed over 100 career points for the Purple Eagles and graduated last spring in sixth on the programs' all-time goal-scoring list.
