BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Robert Morris women's hockey alumni Anjelica Diffendal was named a participant in the 2022 PHF All-Star Showcase, it was announced Thursday. Diffendal becomes the first Colonials alum in program history to take part in the event.

In her first season with the Buffalo Beauts since being selected in the second round of the 2021 Entry Draft last June, Diffendal completed her Colonials career as a member of RMU's 2021 CHA Tournament Championship Team.

A veteran of 122 career appearances for RMU, Diffendal did not miss a single game following the completion of her freshman season, amassing 24 goals and 40 points in her time in Moon Township.

A Pittsburgh native and Penguins Elite Academy product, Diffendal posted eight goals and three assists during her senior season in which she helped lead RMU to its third postseason crown and second NCAA Tournament Appearance.

The game will take place on Saturday, January 29 at Northtown Center in Buffalo, N.Y.
