LAST TIME OUT
Robert Morris dropped a pair of Horizon League matches last week, falling 2-1 at Oakland before dropping a 3-0 decision against Wright State on Saturday.

At Oakland, the Golden Grizzlies took an early 1-0 lead the 12th minute before the Colonials knotted the score at the 44:35-mark. Sophomore Bryan Akongo carded his first goal of the season when he beat the goalkeeper to the left and tied the score, 1-1. Classmate Lucas Shearer was credited with the assist, his first of the year as well. Oakland regained the lead in the 64th minute as Robert Morris recorded 10 shots in the second half.

On a cold and rainy afternoon, both teams peppered the net early as they went into the half scoreless. In the second half, Wright State tallied three goals, two of them coming in a five-minute span.

STATS TO KNOW
The Colonials have tallied 82 shots through nine games this season, while placing 36 shots on goal. Robert Morris is averaging a little over nine shots a game as they have recorded 10 goals this fall.

Junior Chase Gilley leads the Colonials with 10 points as he has carded four goals and two assists. Gilley is only one of three players in the league to have two or more game-winning goals. Classmate Hugo Kadima sits tied for second on the team with four points (2A, 1G) and junior Kelvin Ramirez has found the back of the net twice this season.

Sophomore goalkeeper Friedrich Petrelli has collected 26 saves on 92 shots faced through nine games. He currently sits fifth in the league with 1.33 goals against average while being one of four players in the league to record three shutouts. Petrelli has tallied three or more saves five times this season, as he collected a season-high six saves this past Saturday.

SCOUTING THE THUNDERING HERD
Marshall currently sits third in the Sun Belt Conference (SBC) as they come into Tuesday night with a 5-1-2 overall record behind a 1-0-2 mark in conference play. The Thundering Herd are coming off a 0-0 draw at Coastal Carolina last Thursday.

This will be the third meeting between these two programs and the first since the 2017 campaign. The Thundering Herd have won the past two meetings, collecting a 2-1 win over the Colonials in 2017.

Marshall is led by freshman Matthew Bell, who leads the Sun Belt with seven goals and 14 points this season. Bell has scored in all but three games this fall. Redshirt senior Milo Yosef sits second on the team as he has found the back of the net five times, which is good for third in the conference. Yosef also paced the Sun Belt with three game-winners.

QUOTABLE
"We look forward to playing at Marshall," RMU head coach Jason O'Keefe said. "They are a top team that will ask a lot of us. These are the times when you grow as a team and can improve based on these experiences."

UP NEXT
