Moon Township, Pa. – A total of 24 student-athletes from the RMU rowing team were named to the 2021-22 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Academic Honor Roll.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must own a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.20 higher on a 4.00 scale, and freshman are eligible. The 2021-22 MAAC Academic Honor Roll covers 24 sponsored sports and includes both full-time and associate members.
A total of 2,958 student-athletes were named to the 2021-22 MAAC Academic Honor Roll, including 281 from associate members, which includes the Colonials. Sacred Heart led all MAAC associate members with 40 honorees, followed by Drake (31), Jacksonville (29) and RMU (24) for women's rowing.

Five of the student-athletes to be named to the 2021-22 MAAC Academic Honor Roll for the Colonials own a cumulative GPA of 3.95 or higher, including sophomore
Hannah Fowler, who owns a perfect 4.00 GPA as an early childhood education major.
Senior
Mary Woods earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.99, while junior
Farah Mohamed has posted a 3.97 GPA while studying nursing. Also a nursing major and competing for the Colonials for the first time during the 2021-22 season, freshman
Sierra Mackey notched a 3.96 GPA, while senior
Jayme Sanner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in statistics & predictive analysis while maintaining a 3.96 GPA.
