MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU women's basketball will go on the road and make the short trip to Lewisburg, Pa as they'll face off against the Bucknell Bison. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.

RMU LATELY
The Colonials (2-3) are fresh off their highest scoring game of the season as they dominated Penn State Beaver, 89-39. Simone Morris leads RMU with 12.2 points per game. Naomi Barnwell is RMU's leading rebounder as she averages seven boards per game.
 
BUCKNELL LATELY
The Bison (1-4) are coming off a 63-45- loss vs Eastern Kentucky on Nov. 21. Bucknell opened the season with two straight losses before picking up their first win against FDU on November 15^th. The Bison have not started with a record of 1-5 since the 2011 season when they started with 1-8 overall.

RMU and Bucknell don't have common opponents this season.
 
RMU AND BUCKNELL HISTORY
This will be the first matchup between the Colonials and Bison in series history. RMU has four other such games on the schedule as they have also never faced Texas A&M, Charleston, Fairmont State, and Penn State Beaver.

Single Game High's vs George Mason (11/18) - The Colonials fell short against the Patriots as Alejandra Mastral led RMU with 12 points and two assists. Louella Allana had nine points and a team-high five rebounds in the loss. Natalie Johnson had her most productive game of the season to date as she had 11 points and a team-high three steals.

Single Game High's vs Penn State Beaver (11/21) – RMU cruised to a dominant 89-39 win over the Nittany Lions as they were led by Danielle Vuletich who had 18 points for the Colonials. Simone Morris had 15 points for RMU and also corralled four rebounds for the home team. Paris Kirk made a significant impact as she had 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Colonials with most of those points coming in the first half.

International Journey - The RMU Women's Basketball team features eight international players: Tuana Coskun (Istanbul, Turkiye) Louella Allana (Laval, Quebec), Eden Monka (Montreal, Quebec), Camila Bozan (Santiago, Chile), Rebecca Dwomoh (London, England), Paris Kirk (Kelowna, B.C.), Naomi Barnwell (Chanteloup-Les-Vignes, France) and Alejandra Mastral (Zaragoza, Spain).
 
UP NEXT
The Colonials will stay on the road as they look forward to their first conference matchup against Cleveland State on November 29th. The contest is scheduled for Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN.

Season tickets for RMU basketball for the 2023-24 season can be purchased by calling the RMU Ticket Office at (412) 397-4949. In addition to a full slate of Horizon League games, the Colonials will also host an MTE Tournament at the UPMC Events Center as part of their 2023-24 non-conference home schedule.
