Opening Draw
- The Colonials continue Mid-American Conference (MAC) play when they host the Penguins of Youngstown State on Wednesday, April 12, at Joe Walton Stadium.
- The Robert Morris women's lacrosse team scored a season-high in goals en route to an 18-10 victory at Detroit Mercy in conference action last Saturday (4/8).
- Four different Colonials registered a hat trick during the win. Lilli Hadden paced the team by tying her career-high in points and setting a career-best in goals. She tallied four goals on six shots while collecting an assist.
- Julia Koterwas found the back of the net three times while placing four shots on goal. Colleen Tifft netted three scores while collecting four draw controls as Chelsea Coleman scored three times, won three draw controls, and snatched two ground balls in the win.
- Jenna Irwin registered two scores, one ground ball and caused one turnover while Kelsey Nelson finished with three total points, tallying two assists and one goal.
- Bailey Christianson carded a season-high three points, collecting a pair of assists and a goal.
- Junior Olivia Rupert recorded her second career goal as Jordan Anderson registered an assist, collected a team-high six draw controls, two ground balls and caused a turnover.
- The Colonials led in almost every statistical category, firing 40 total shots to Detroit Mercy's 22. RMU held a 34-18 edge in shots on goal while placing eight or more on net in every quarter.

The All-Time Series (Youngstown State) – The Colonials and Penguins will take the field for the seventh time on Wednesday afternoon. Robert Morris has been dominant in the series, holding a 5-1 advantage after securing a 12-10 victory earlier this month (4/1).
Colleen Tifft enjoyed a prolific day for the Colonials, tallying a career-high five points on the afternoon. She tied her career-high with four scores and added an assist in the win. Tifft carded a season-high and a team leading eight shots, all coming on goal. She paced RMU with six draw controls while collecting three ground balls and caused two turnovers.
Five different Colonials found the back of the net as
Kelsey Nelson carded her second career hat trick in the victory. She tallied three goals in the first half after peppering the net with four shots, all coming on goal.
Julia Koterwas finished the afternoon with three points after netting a pair of scores and tallied an assist. She fired four shots on goal while grabbing two ground balls and caused a turnover.

Scouting The Penguins – Youngstown State comes to Moon Township on a two-game win streak, securing an 18-7 win at Akron (4/5) before capturing a 17-15 victory over Eastern Michigan last Saturday (4/8). Against the Eagles, Jordan Miller scored a career-high seven goals which are tied for the second-most goals in a single game in program history. Erin Clark delivered an impressive stat line scoring five goals and making an assist for six points while also tallying seven draw controls, three ground balls, and a caused turnover. Abby Yesko scored a career-high four points with two goals and two assists. Yesko also led the team in draw controls with eight. Tristen Chang delivered three points on the day, scoring a goal and making two assists.
Natalie Calandra-Ryan paces the conference in multiple statistical categories this season. She leads the league in goals (35), goals per game (3.18), total points (48), points per game (4.36), total draw controls (66) and draw controls per contest (6.00). Erin Clark sits second on the team with 37 total points while tallying 23 scores and carding a team-leading 14 assists. Her 14 assists rank her second in the MAC as she has totaled 36 draw controls, good for second on the team. Ali Korin ranks third on the squad with 22 goals and 31 total points while Jordan Miller sits fourth with 18 scores for the Penguins.
As a team, YSU leads the league in goals per game (12.17), shots on goal per contest (20.67) and draw controls per game (14.25). The Penguins sit second in the conference with 59 total assists, along with 4.92 assists per game. They sit just behind Central Michigan with 17.08 points per contest while pacing the MAC with 205 total points.
Inside The MACtion – As a team, Robert Morris sits atop the list in many statistical categories. The Colonials pace the conference in caused turnovers per game, averaging 7.73 per contest. They've caused seven or more turnovers in six contests this season, including a season-high 14 against Queens earlier this year (3/18). RMU leads the league in clearing percentage, posting a .834 percentage while ranking first in shots per game (27.73). The Colonials have posted five straight games of 27 shots or more and have totaled six while carding a league leading 305 this year. RMU sits second in the MAC in shots on goal per game (20.09) sitting behind Youngstown State while totaling 221 shots on net which ranks third in the league.
Stayin Alive – Through 11 contests this season, a group of Colonials have continued to produce and keep their streaks alive. Sophomore
Chelsea Coleman extends her goal scoring streak to 10 games while leading the team with 22 markers this season. Coleman has posted back-to-back hat tricks while totaling 24 points this year. She also has carded a team-leading 16 caused turnovers which ranks third in the MAC. Senior captain
Colleen Tifft has netted a score in five consecutive games while pacing the team in points (26) and tied for the team lead in assists (7). She sits tied for second with 25 draw controls while collecting four or more in three of the last four contests. Graduate student captain
Kelsey Nelson has registered three straight games of three total points while tallying a score in all three. She currently ranks tied for fourth on the team in goals (10) and sits second on the squad in assists (6). Junior
Gia Anthony has been stout for the Colonials off the bench, carding a goal in six consecutive games. She's totaled 13 points, with 10 scores and three assists while firing 38 shots this year.
