RMU Men’s Basketball to Face Villanova in Charity Exhibition Game Oct. 27

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU Men's Basketball team will travel to Villanova on Sunday, October 27 to play in a charity exhibition game at Finneran Pavilion. Tipoff time is scheduled for noon.

The game will benefit Team Impact, an organization that matches children facing serious illness or disability with college sports teams to create a long-term, life-changing experience for all involved.

This will be the first time the teams have squared off since the first round of the 2010 NCAA Tournament. The Colonials were edged 73-70 by the Wildcats in overtime at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, R.I.

This will be the Colonials' final tune-up prior to their Monday, November 4 season-opener at West Virginia. RMU opens its home slate on Sunday, November 10 against Chatham at the UPMC Events Center.
