FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The RMU men's soccer team fell to Purdue Fort Wayne (PFW), 2-1, on the road. The Colonials are now 5-4-2 overall and 2-1-1 in Horizon League play.
FIRST HALF HIGHLIGHTS
- RMU struck early in the 8th minute, with Chase Gilley scoring off a rebound to give the Colonials a 1-0 lead. Logan Gilley earned an assist on the play.
- In the 15th minute, Lucas Barsoee of RMU was shown a yellow card.
- PFW was awarded a penalty kick in the 19th minute, which Juan Romero converted to tie the game at 1-1.
- The Mastodons took the lead seven minutes later as Aidan Antcliff capitalized, stealing the ball and scoring to make it 2-1.
- Before the half ended, two PFW players received yellow cards.
SECOND HALF HIGHLIGHTS
- In the 60th minute, RMU's Logan Gilley was issued a yellow card.
- RMU's William Dodzi Afawubo nearly equalized in the 72nd minute but hit the woodwork. He was then shown a yellow card in the 80th minute.
- In the final eight minutes, Kai McLoughlin attempted three shots for RMU, but the Colonials could not find an equalizer.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
RMU registered 14 shots, three of which were on target, while PFW recorded 12 shots with six on target. The Colonials earned seven corner kicks compared to the Mastodons' three.
Kai McLoughlin led RMU offensively with five shots.

Josh Lane made three saves.
CONSISTENCY
The Gilley brothers continue to be a force for RMU.
Chase Gilley is on a three-game point streak, scoring four goals and adding an assist over that span. He leads the team in goals and points (6g, 1a, 13p).
Logan Gilley has also contributed with three assists and one goal in the last three matches.
