MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU Women's Basketball team gears up for their second road contest of the season when they make the short trip to face Akron on Wednesday night.

RMU is coming off an overtime loss on the road against College of Charleston on Saturday afternoon, 74-69. Junior transfer
Noa Givon was a force for RMU as she had 17 points shooting 50 percent from the field and played a team-high 39 minutes for the Colonials.
Danielle Vuletich came up big off the bench scoring 14 points while going a team-high 4-6 from the free-throw line.
Raissa Nsabua filled up the stat sheet as she led the team with 11 rebounds and six assists. Through two games, RMU is second in the Horizon League only letting up an average of 59 points per game on defense.

RMU AND AKRON HISTORY
The Colonials own an 8-16 record against the Zips all-time since the series began back during the 1980 season. RMU hasn't won a matchup against Akron since the 2011 campaign when the Colonials upended the Zips, 85-78 at home.

RMU AND AKRON LAST TIME OUT
RMU came so close of getting the home win last season against the Zips but Akron was able to pull away in overtime, 63-58.
Naomi Barnwell had a team-high 14 points and nine rebounds while going 4-4 from the charity stripe.
Simone Morris chipped in 10 points while hauling in four boards with an assist and a block.
