RMU (8-14, 4-7 HL) fell at Oakland 87-72 Thursday night. Markeese Hastings recorded his seventh double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds, which ranks second in the Horizon League and 46^th nationally. The Colonials are 2-9 on the road this season.

Detroit Mercy (0-23, 0-12 HL) is one of two winless NCAA teams, joining Mississippi Valley State (0-21). UDM is 0-8 at home this year.
 
RMU AND DETROIT MERCY HISTORY
The schools first met in 2009 at the 2K Sports Classic in Albany, N.Y. They did not meet again until 2021 when RMU joined the Horizon League. Including the neutral site game, UDM won the first six contests until RMU's victory on January 27, 2023.
