MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's basketball is set to take on Wright State in their final away regular season game of the 2024 season. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday night and can be seen on ESPN+.

RMU LATELY
The Colonials (6-20) are fresh off a loss on Sunday afternoon against IUPUI on the road, 70-50 (2/18).  Simone Morris leads RMU with 10.0 points per game. Danielle Vuletich leads the Colonials in rebounds as she averages 6.6 boards per game.
 
WRIGHT STATE LATELY
The Raiders (15-13) have struggled as of late with back to back double-digit losses against Youngstown State and Northern Kentucky this past week. Fifth-year guard Alexis Hutchison leads the Horizon League in scoring as she averages 18.4 points per game which is 1.2 points higher than the next best scorer. With three games left, Wright State is currently the fourth seed in the Horizon League standings with matchups against Oakland and Detroit Mercy left on their schedule.

WRIGHT STATE HISTORY
The Colonials have a 6-5 overall record against Wright State since the series began back in the 2008 campaign. RMU has lost two matchups in a row against the Raiders with their last win coming on December 2, 2022. In that game, Paris Kirk came off the bench and scored 12 points while going 3-3 from beyond the arc in her freshman season.

SINGLE GAME HIGH'S VS GREEN BAY (2/15) – The Colonials fought hard against top-seeded Horizon League foe Green Bay but fell at home by the score, 60-50. Madison O'Dell established a career-high 14 points in just 13 minutes off the bench for RMU. Danielle Vuletich added 12 points and a team-high eight boards against the Phoenix.

SINGLE GAME HIGH'S VS IUPUI (2/18) – RMU was never able to hold a lead on the road as they fell to IUPUI, 70-50. Danielle Vuletich was the leading scorer for the Colonials as she tallied 15 points off of six made field goals on Sunday afternoon. Simone Morris and Naomi Barnwell each had eight points while Barnwell added a team-high four rebounds.

DID YOU KNOW?
Through 26 games RMU is fourth in the Horizon League teams in blocked shots as the Colonials average 3.35 per contest.

INTERNATIONAL JOURNEY - The RMU Women's Basketball team features eight international players: Tuana Coskun (Istanbul, Turkey) Louella Allana (Laval, Quebec), Eden Monka (Montreal, Quebec), Camila Bozan (Santiago, Chile), Rebecca Dwomoh (London, England), Paris Kirk (Kelowna, B.C.), Naomi Barnwell (Chanteloup-Les-Vignes, France) and Alejandra Mastral (Zaragoza, Spain).
 
UP NEXT
The Colonials will come back to the UPMC Events Center on Saturday afternoon when they host the top team in the Horizon League, Cleveland State. Tipoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.
