MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU women's basketball returns home to battle Cleveland State at the UPMC Events Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and can be seen on ESPN+.

RMU LATELY
The Colonials (6-21) is coming off a close loss on the road at Wright State, 76-68.  Simone Morris leads RMU with 10.1 points per game. Danielle Vuletich leads the Colonials in rebounds as she averages 6.6 boards per game.
 
CLEVELAND STATE LATELY
The Vikings (24-4) have been one of the top teams in the conference the past month as they've won 13 out of their last 14 contests dating back to the beginning of January. Cleveland State leads the Horizon League in points per game as they average 75.3 points per contest. The Vikings are currently slotted as the top seed in the Horizon League with two games remaining in the regular season.

CLEVELAND STATE HISTORY
RMU owns a 3-5 record against Cleveland State as the Colonials have lost three in a row in the series dating back to the 2021 season. In the last matchup, RMU fell on the road in their first conference matchup of the season back on November 29, 2023. Simone Morris notched a team-high 16 points and Danielle Vuletich added 11 rebounds in the loss.

SINGLE GAME HIGH'S VS IUPUI (2/18) – RMU was never able to hold a lead on the road as they fell to IUPUI, 70-50. Danielle Vuletich was the leading scorer for the Colonials as she tallied 15 points off of six made field goals on Sunday afternoon. Simone Morris and Naomi Barnwell each had eight points while Barnwell added a team-high four rebounds.

SINGLE GAME HIGH'S VS WRIGHT STATE (2/21) – The Colonials battled in all four quarters and had a lead for a good portion of the game but lost to Wright State, 76-68. Simone Morris tallied a team-high 14 points while going 2-2 from beyond the arc and 4-4 from the charity stripe. Danielle Vuletich notched 12 points and a team-high six rebounds.

Through 27 games RMU is fourth in the Horizon League teams in blocked shots as the Colonials average 3.35 per contest.

RMU will close out their regular season schedule when they host Northern Kentucky on Tuesday night in the season finale. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.
