PITTSBURGH – The RMU track and field team made a last-minute addition to its schedule when it took the throwers and distant runners to the CMU Invitational. 

IN THE FIELD
Maizee Fry was third in a field 31 in the shot put with a throw of 13.14. She also was third in the discus coming in at 38.97. Zoe Gologram was two spots behind her with a 36.09. In the hammer, Jordyn Thompson finished eighth (42.55) and Gologram ninth (40.63). 

ON TRACK
Erin Laquatra placed fourth in the steeplechase with a time of 12:22.80 followed by Samantha Thomas in ninth (12:48.53). The Colonials had five runner participate in the 1500m.

UP NEXT
The Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Championships scheduled for April 6 at the P3R Track & Field Complex has been canceled. The Colonials will now participate in the Dave Labor Invitational on April 5-6 hosted by Slippery Rock.
