NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The RMU women's track and field team secured seven first-place finishes at the Westminster Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
In track events, the Colonials had six first-place finishes with
Hayzes Robinson taking the 100m (11.99) and 200m (24.68),
Ny'Asia Benton taking the 100mH with a time of 14.35, which is now fourth best in school history,
Julianna Page-Daughtry claiming the 400m (56.32),
Lindsey Martineau winning the 400m hurdles (1:05.51) and the 4x100 team of
Dea Monz, Robinson,
Penelope Mobley, and
Maddie Raymond winning gold with a time of 47.27, which ranks sixth-best all-time in RMU history.
The Colonials also took home a first-place finish in the long jump as
Clare Ruffing claimed gold with a distance of 5.86m, which is now the second-best all-time in RMU history.
On the afternoon, aside from its seven first-place finishes, RMU secured another 12 top-10 finishes at the Westminster Invitational.
