MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU's sophomore Alvaro Folgueiras is representing Spain in the 2024 FIBA U20 EuroBasket held in Gdynia, Poland. 
 
Folgueiras led Spain to a perfect 3-0 record in the Group C Phase, defeating North Macedonia (93-38), Belgium (81-45) and Türkiye (81-73). Spain leads all teams averaging 85.0 points per game and is second with 46.0 rebounds per contest. 
 
Spain advances into the Round of 16 and will face Montenegro on July 17. The winner will face either France or Germany in the quarterfinals.
