MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – RMU men's hockey alum Justin Addamo has signed a professional contract with HC Oceláři Třinec in the Czechia league.
Addamo is coming off a season as the team captain for the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) where he scored 13 goals, 21 assists and 34 points in 35 games.
When called up to the Pittsburgh Penguins AHL affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins, he posted two goals and two assists in 21 games.
Addamo also found success on the international stage, representing his home country of France in the 2024 IIHF World Championships. He led France in scoring with two goals and one assist across five games.
During his collegiate years with RMU from 2018 to 2021, Addamo registered 24 goals, 27 assists and 51 points in 96 games with the Colonials.
Under Schooley's leadership since 2004, the program has developed more than 80 student-athletes to play professionally.
