MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's basketball team will go on the road and battle IU Indy on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. and can be seen streaming live on ESPN+.
RMU LATELY
Th he Colonials are coming off a 66-58 loss at home against Detroit Mercy on Saturday afternoon.
Noa Givon led the Colonials with 12 points as she converted on five field goals in the matchup.
Isys Grady finished the game with 10 points scoring while adding a team-high three assists against the Titans. The Colonials currently rank second in the Horizon League in total defense as RMU has only allowed 59.2 points in ten games played.
RMU AND IU INDY HISTORY
This will be the 10th matchup in series history with the Jaguars owning a 8-2 advantage over RMU. The Colonials have won two out of the last four contests against IU Indy with the first matchup coming during the 2021 campaign.
RMU AND IU INDY LAST TIME OUT
The Colonials lost the last matchup on the road against the Jaguars, falling 70-50 last season.
Danielle Vuletich notched a team-high 15 points while adding two assists and a steal.
Simone Morris led the team with 18 points as the Colonials split the series matchup last year with RMU losing on the road and winning at home.
UP NEXT
RMU will stay on the road for conference play when they travel and face Northern Kentucky next Wednesday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.
