MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's basketball team will go on the road and battle IU Indy on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. and can be seen streaming live on ESPN+.
 
RMU LATELY
The Colonials are coming off a 56-46 loss on the road against IU Indy on Saturday afternoon. Noa Givon and Naomi Barnwell each led the Colonials with 14 points scoring in the matchup while both players also combined for nine rebounds in the loss. The Colonials allowed their lowest shooting percentage in a quarter this season against the Jaguars when IU Indy shot just 11 percent from the field in the third quarter on Saturday. The Colonials currently rank second in the Horizon League in total defense as RMU has only allowed 58.9 points in 14 games played.

LEADING THE CHARGE
Junior guard Noa Givon has been a model of consistency for the Colonials in the last month as she has scored in double figures in each of the last four games. During that stretch, Givon has tallied a team-high 23 field goals while playing the most minutes on the Colonials.

RMU AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY HISTORY
Both of these squads have faced off against each other on 12 occasions with Northern Kentucky holding an 11-1 advantage over RMU. The series began during the 1984 season with the Colonials picking up their lone win in 2017 by a score of 59-50.

RMU AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY LAST TIME OUT
The Colonials lost in both matchups against the Norse last season but it didn't come without some good individual performances. In the last matchup, Danielle Vuletich picked up a double-double while recording a team-high 19 points and 10 rebounds on February 27th.

RMU will come back home and play against Green Bay this Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the UPMC Events Center. The matchup can be seen streaming live on ESPN+.
