UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Franny Kabana became the first RMU student-athlete to run the mile in under five minutes when she crossed in 4:57.00 at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge hosted by Penn State. Following her was
Samantha Hennen, who crossed right behind her with a 4:47.38.
Julia Dill's had a PR of 5:03.07 and
Emma Jiancristoforo a PR of 5:06.61. Kabana and Hennen were ninth and 10th, respectively, in a field of 34 runners. Dill finished 14th and Jiancristoforo 18th.
