RMU LATELY
The Colonials finished their regular season with a victory over Wright State, 73-57 on Saturday afternoon.
Noa Givon led the Colonials with 15 points and six rebounds as she had two strong outings in a row to help RMU win back-to-back games.
Danielle Vuletich came off the bench and scored 12 points in just 18 minutes of play.
Mya Murray rounded out the double-digit scorers for RMU as she had 10 points while going 4-4 from the field. With RMU's win over Wright State they clinched the fourth seed in the 2025 Barbasol Horizon League Women's Championships. The Colonials will face off against Northern Kentucky for the third time this season with RMU splitting the season series 1-1. This is the first time in program history that the Colonials are hosting a Horizon League quarterfinal game as their only other home game in league play was in 2021 when RMU hosted Purdue Fort Wayne in the first round. The Colonials currently rank third in the Horizon League in team defensive rebounds with RMU posting an average of 25.7 defensive boards in 30 games played.
RMU AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY HISTORY
The Colonials haven't had much success in the overall series against the Norse but have split the 2025 series with both teams winning one game. Prior to RMU's last win over Northern Kentucky in February, the Colonials lost nine straight in the overall series with their only other win coming during the 2017 season.

Mya Murray had a near double-double with 12 points and a team-high seven rebounds. A key statistic in this matchup was that the Colonials out rebounded Northern Kentucky 39-29 to help secure the win.
POSTSEASON QUOTES
Head Coach
Chandler McCabe spoke to the media prior to the quarterfinal matchup and had this to say about how far this group has come this season, "Yeah, really proud of this group. You know, for us, we've been saying since Point Park, the next game is the most important game on the schedule. So, we've just been trying to have a normal week. You know, these kids are coming from class, so it's very much. So, the next game on the schedule, so it's the most important, but definitely a different level of excitement being in the postseason, hosting a game. So just really excited." McCabe added what point in the season she saw things turn around for her team, "I think after the Youngstown win, that helped a lot, obviously, getting Jada back was huge, but there was just a difference in these guys, if I'm being honest with you, they did it. They met themselves. They brought it to us. They said, you know, this, this and this. And we said, this, this and this. They all committed to playing harder and doing the things that we were asking. And it translated directly to wins."
