MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - RMU swept both the men's and women's weekly Horizon League awards, with Jake Bayes and Emma Jiancristoforo taking home both Runners of the Week honors. 

At last week's Colonial Invitational, Bayes was 14th in the field of 120, crossing in 24:54.6 while Jiancristoforo was 13^th in the field of 106 with a time of 21:42.5. Bayes' time was his 8k PR, besting his previous mark by 1:33. Jiancristoforo was 39 better than her previous 6k mark of 22:21.

Up next, both teams head to South Bend, Ind. to run in the Joe Piane Invitational hosted by Notre Dame on Oct. 3.
