MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Robert Morris freshman
Dylan Anderson has been named both the NEC Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week, the league announced Monday. The honors come following a record-setting performance in the Colonials' 16-12 victory over Bucknell.
Anderson etched his name into the RMU record books after recording nine points, tying the program record for the second-most points in a single match. Anderson was a dual threat throughout the afternoon, finding the back of the net four times while distributing five assists. His five helpers also tied the school mark for the second-most assists in a single-game performance. Anderson fired nine shots on the day, putting five on target in the win over the Bison.
RMU continues its non-conference slate with a road trip to Western New York to face St. Bonaventure on Tuesday, Feb. 17, and Canisius on Friday, Feb. 20. The Colonials then return home to Joe Walton Stadium for a midday clash against High Point on Monday, Feb. 23
