MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's soccer team has strengthened its roster with the addition of six transfers ahead of the 2026 spring season, as announced by head coach
Michelle Rick. The incoming group includes two forwards, three midfielders and one defender, adding experience, leadership and depth across the pitch.
Alyssa Mella | Sophomore | Forward | Oakville, Ontario | Transfer from Ball State
Mella arrives in Moon Township after an impressive freshman season in 2024 in which she started 16 of 18 games at Saint Francis and logged 1,296 minutes on the pitch. She scored three goals, including two game-winning tallies, and finished with the most goals by a freshman in program history since 2018.
Prior to her collegiate career, Mella starred at Thomas A. Blakelock High School, where she earned team MVP honors twice and served as team captain in her senior campaign. She started every game of her high school career and helped lead the Tigers to Halton District Championships in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Madison Sievering | Redshirt Sophomore | Forward | Cincinnati, Ohio | Transfer from Mercyhurst
Sievering joins the Colonials following two productive seasons at Mercyhurst, where she emerged as one of the Lakers' top offensive players. In 2025, she played in all 19 games and served as a team captain while leading the team in goals (4), assists (4) and points (12). She also scored one game-winning goal and logged 1,509 minutes.
As a freshman in 2024, Sievering again appeared in all 19 games, producing five goals and a team-best six assists for 16 points.
A standout at Summit Country Day High School, she earned All-Conference First Team, All-Region, All-State and All-American honors twice. She was named Conference Player of the Year and Southwest Ohio Player of the Year as a senior.
Fiona Fraser | Sophomore | Midfielder | Shaker Heights, Ohio | Transfer from Mercyhurst
Fraser brings significant midfield experience after starting all 19 games for Mercyhurst in 2025. She recorded one goal and three assists while logging 1,661 minutes.
During her freshman campaign in 2024, Fraser appeared in 18 games with eight starts and scored her first collegiate goal, which stood as the game-winner against Delaware State.
She previously played at Shaker Heights High School and competed at the club level with Cleveland Force SC.
Sophia Cucchetti | Redshirt Junior | Midfielder | Cincinnati, Ohio | Transfer from Cleveland State
Cucchetti joins RMU after three seasons at Cleveland State, bringing valuable collegiate experience with 35 career appearances. She totaled two goals, four assists and eight points while logging 2,261 minutes.
Before her collegiate career, Cucchetti played at Walnut Hills High School, where she earned All-ECC honors three times, including two First Team selections, and served as team captain twice. She was also named All-Southwest Ohio as a sophomore.
At the club level, she competed with Cincinnati United Premier and helped guide the team to the Academy National Final Four in 2021.
Rosie Bandura | Freshman | Midfielder | West Seneca, N.Y. | Transfer from Mercyhurst
Bandura made an immediate impact during her freshman season in 2025, appearing in 14 games with two starts and logging 418 minutes. She scored in her collegiate debut against Duquesne.
Prior to Mercyhurst, Bandura played at Mount Mercy Academy, where she earned ECNL All-Regional League recognition. She was a three-time Girls Soccer All-Catholic selection, a two-time Girls Soccer Player of the Conference honoree, and earned All-WNY honorable mention recognition. She was also named one of 12 Western New York Girls Soccer Players to Watch.
Sierra Hess | Freshman | Defender | Mohnton, Pa. | Transfer from Kutztown
Hess adds strength to the Colonials' back line after an outstanding freshman campaign in which she started all 18 games and logged 1,504 minutes. She contributed three assists while helping anchor a defense that recorded seven shutouts and earned a berth in the NCAA Division II Tournament.
Hess previously competed at Governor Mifflin Senior High School, where she excelled in both soccer and track and field. She helped lead her team to a conference championship in 2022 and earned All-State honors as a center back.
