MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The NEC announced Monday that Robert Morris attacker Dylan Anderson has been named the Rookie of the Week. This marks the sixth time this season that Anderson has taken home the conference's weekly freshman honor.
 
Anderson helped the Colonials secure a program-record ninth consecutive victory in an 18-5 win over Mercyhurst on April 11. He spearheaded the offensive effort with four goals, including the game-winner. Following that performance, Anderson continues to lead the NEC with 47 points and ranks second in the league with 34 goals.
 
RMU (10-3, 5-0 NEC), which looks to extend its program record winning streak to 10 games, returns home on April 18 to host LIU (9-2, 4-1 NEC) for Senior Day. The Colonials and Sharks face off at noon at Joe Walton Stadium. A victory for RMU would clinch the NEC regular season title and home-field advantage for the conference tournament.
