INDIANAPOLIS - Six members of the RMU women's cross country and track and field teams were named to the prestigious 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team.
Julia Dill (Senior | Johnstown, Pa.)
Dill, a member of both the cross country and track and field teams, had a fantastic year for the Colonials, which culminated with an appearance at the NCAA East Regional, where Dill finished in 37th place in the 10000m. Dill was selected to the #HLTF 2026 Indoor and Outdoor All-Academic Teams this season.
During the 2025-26 indoor track season, Dill was ranked 25th regionally in the 5000m (15:45.74) and 28th in the 3000m (9:27.56). She finished the indoor season with two silver medals, placing second in both the 3000m and 5000m. Dill shone during the outdoor season, ranking ninth regionally and 98th nationally in the 10000 (33:50.26) and 19th regionally in the 5000m (16:27.91). At the 2026 Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Dill brought home gold twice for the Colonials, winning the 5000m and 10000m. Julia currently holds both RMU school records in those events.
Samantha Hennen (Senior | Pittsburgh, Pa.)
Hennen, a Pittsburgh native, had a great indoor season for the Colonials, highlighted by two gold medals and a silver at the 2026 Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Regionally, Hennen finished 13th in the 5000m (16:20.07), 17th in the 3000m (9:12.20), and 28th in the mile (4:47.83). At the indoor championships, Hennen brought home an individual medal in the 3000m as well as being a part of the DMR team that took home first. She also secured a second-place finish in the mile with a personal best time of 4:47.83. Hennen was selected to the 2026 Valeo Women's Indoor #HLTF All-Academic Team.
Maizee Fry (Graduate Student | New Florence, Pa.)
A thrower for the Colonials, Fry earned all-academic honors from the Horizon League, being named an honorable mention for the 2026 Valeo #HLTF Outdoor All-Academic Team.
During the outdoor season, Fry secured nine top-10 finishes on the season and was ranked regionally in the shot put (29th) and discus (42nd). At the 2026 Horizon League Outdoor Championships, Fry finished fourth in the shot put (13.59m) and sixth in the discus (38.95m). Fry also secured a top-50 regional placement, finishing the season ranked 31st in the shot put with a season-best distance of 13.48m at the 2026 Horizon League Indoor Championships.
Erin LaQuatra (Senior | Pittsburgh, Pa.)
Hailing from Pittsburgh, LaQuatra secured her spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team with a regional placement in the steeplechase during the 2026 outdoor season.
During the outdoor season, LaQuatra ranked 21st regionally in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:43.58 at the Bison Outdoor Classic. At the 2026 Horizon League Indoor Championships, LaQuatra finished in fourth with a time of 11:07.42. LaQuatra was also a member of the DMR team that secured first place at the 2026 Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 11:46.19.
Lindsey Martineau (Senior | New Wilmington, Pa.)
Martineau, a senior from New Wilmington, Pa., landed in the top-50 regionally in the 400m during the 2026 outdoor season to be eligible for the Academic All-District Team.
During the 2026 outdoor season, Martineau ranked 26th regionally in the 400mH with a time of 1:01.76, which she posted at the 2026 Horizon League Outdoor Championships, securing silver for the Colonials. During the 2026 Horizon League Indoor Championships, Martineau was also a member of the DMR team that secured a first-place finish.
Academically, Martineau was also selected for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program grant, which aims to increase mutual understanding between people in the United States and other countries through education and cultural exchange. Each year, thousands of applicants compete for a limited number of awards.
Ayanna Ferringer (Sophomore | Venus, Pa.)
Ferringer, a thrower from Venus, Pennsylvania, finished the outdoor season ranked 47th regionally to be selected to the CSC All-District Team.
Competing in five meets during the 2026 outdoor season, Ferringer finished in the top 10 at every meet and recorded a season best at the 2026 Horizon League Outdoor Championships with a distance of 37.58m to finish fifth in the events for RMU.
