DAVIDSON, N.C. – The RMU men's golf team finished 12th out of 13 teams at the River Run Collegiate, hosted by Davidson. The Colonials finished the tournament with a 54-hole score of +60, while Presbyterian claimed the team title with a +5 total.
RMU opened the tournament with a +17 in the first round before shooting +26 in the second round. The Colonials closed out the tournament with their best round of the event, carding a +16 in the final round Tuesday.
Chase Bokker,
Ben Skripac,
Chuck Tragesser,
Connor McKenzie and
Ben Sheridan represented the Colonials throughout the tournament.
Bokker led RMU with an 18th-place finish, carding a +5 over the three rounds. He registered 10 birdies throughout the tournament and finished his final round at even par.
Tragesser posted the second-best finish for the Colonials, placing 32nd with a +9 total. He recorded eight birdies over the two-day tournament.
McKenzie finished 56th at +15, while Skripac placed 70th at +31. Sheridan rounded out the RMU lineup in 75th at +47.
