Pre-RMU Highlights
Making his junior debut at the age of 15, Lawson has held prominent leadership roles before arriving on campus. He finished a four-year stint with the Ottawa Jr. Senators of the Central Canada Hockey League as team captain. After skating in 211 CCHL games, scoring 48 points (12 goals) from the blue line, Lawson moved on to the Wellington Dukes in 2017-18, winning an Ontario Junior Hockey League championship in the process. He contributed 20 points (eight goals) in 57 total games for the Dukes, but he's known for his defensive prowess first and foremost.
