2019-20 | Sophomore Season
- Saw action in 37 games including all three postseason contests 
- Recorded one goal and four points
- Scored first career goal on 11/30 vs. Mercyhurst
- Had second-most penalty minutes with 37
- Blocked 68 shots, second-most amongst defenseman 

2018-19 | Freshman Season
- Competed in 37 of 40 games in his first NCAA season, including five of six Atlantic Hockey playoff games
- Recorded two points, both assists, highlighted by his first Oct. 20 vs. Army West Point
- Ranked fifth on the team with 42 blocked shots, with a season-high six Feb. 2 vs. Mercyhurst

Pre-RMU Highlights
Schaeffer played for Marshall High School in Minnesota while skating with the Team Illinois U16 and U18 programs. Although he spent half a season with the United States Hockey League's Fargo Force, the majority of his junior experience happened in the North American Hockey League. In three combined seasons with the Minnesota Magicians and Fairbanks Ice Dogs, Schaeffer compiled 61 points (23 goals) from the blue line in 176 games. He served as an alternate captain with Fairbanks in 2017-18.
