- Saw action in all 37 games including three postseason games 
- Posted five goals and 12 points
- Scored twice in win over Bentley on 10/12
- Scored two game-winners 
- Recorded four goal on the power-play, tied for most on the team
- Scored game-tying goal with 1:48 left in the third vs. RIT on 2/8

2018-19 | Freshman Season
- Played in 30 of 40 games in his first NCAA season, including the final 15 games and all six Atlantic Hockey playoff contests
- Ranked third among RMU first-year players with 10 points (6g, 4a)
- Boasted the second-best plus-minus rating on the team (plus-3)
- Scored first collegiate goal Nov. 10 vs. Penn State, then netted another in his next game, Nov. 23 vs. Mercyhurst
- Earned points in season-high three straight games Feb. 23-March 2
- Scored game-tying goal in decisive Game 3 of AHA quarterfinal series at Bentley
- Ranked third on the team with a .516 faceoff win percentage
- Named RMU's Freshman of the Year

Pre-RMU Highlights
Spellacy captained his St. Ignatius high school team for three seasons before moving on to the Lone Star Brahmas of the North American Hockey League, the same franchise that trained Sean Giles and fellow Class of 2022 member Justin Addamo. After posting well over a point per game at the prep level and midget hockey with Team Ohio, Spellacy netted 52 points (21 goals) in two seasons with Lone Star. The Brahmas won the NAHL's Robertson Cup in his first season and returned to the playoffs in his second year, when Spellacy served as an alternate captain.
