Tabbed the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 8, 2017, is senior forward Spencer Dorowicz of the hockey squad. In a 1-0-1 weekend against Holy Cross at Colonials Arena on the RMU Island Sports Center, Dorowicz finished with a goal and two assists. He posted a helper in a 5-5 tie to open the series, then scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-0 victory in the second game. He opened the scoring at the 5:44 mark of the first period to give Robert Morris a 1-0 lead, then assisted on a goal by Luke Lynch at the 12:36 mark of the final period to help the Colonials seal the victory. In nine games this season, Dorowicz, a native of Olds, Alberta, has compiled two goals and four assists for six points.
