Sophomore safety Lorenzo Euline of the football team has been tabbed the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 13, 2021. In a 31-24 victory over Charleston Southern (10/9) at Joe Walton Stadium as part of the University’s Homecoming festivities, Euline helped seal the first Big South win program history with a 50-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. His score gave the Colonials a 10-point advantage, 31-21, en route to the triumph. Euline, a native of Miami, Fla., finished with five tackles and a pair of pass breakups in addition to his interception. In three games for the Colonials this season, Euline, a criminal justice major, has compiled 17 tackles, including nine solo stops. He is a two-time Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honoree, having also garnered the accolade Sept. 29, 2021.
