Earning her second consecutive Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week nod is Phoenix Gedeon of the basketball squad, who garners the honor for Dec. 21, 2022. In a 63-39 victory over St. Bonaventure (12/16/22) that improved the Colonials to a perfect 6-0 at the UPMC Events Center this season, Gedeon recorded her third double-double of the season to pace RMU. She finished with 13 points and 10 caroms against the Bonnies, converting five of her nine attempts from the field while shooting 3-for-6 at the free-throw line. Overall during the 2022-23 campaign, Gedeon, a native of Montreal, Quebec, leads the Colonials in scoring and rebounding with per game averages of 13.4 and 7.7, respectively.
