Colonials Fall to Mount St. Mary's

Emmittsburg, Md. - The Robert Morris University women's soccer team lost their fourth-straight game Sunday afternoon, falling on the road to Northeast Conference-foe Mount St. Mary's 3-0. The Colonials held the edge in shots, 14-13, including 10-4 in the second half but still fell to 5-10-0 on the season and 1-4-0 in conference.

Mount St. Mary's (4-11-0, 2-4-0) received two goals from Emily Menotti and a pair of assist from Jenn Baker in the second half. Anna Lebo made six saves fro the win.

The Mount took the lead 11 mintues into the game as Meghan Haspert tallied her fifth marker of the season by finishing a cross from Karyn Farrar.

Menotti took over the second half, heading in her first goal on a cross from Baker in the 62nd minute. She scored in the 70th minute as well and again off of a Baker cross.

Junior goalkeeper Jessica Onufer (Butler, Pa. / Butler) finished with six saves while taking the loss.

The Colonials play their return home for a 3:00 p.m. game against Long Island Friday, October 20.
