Field Hockey Drops 5-0 Decision to Bucknell University

The Robert Morris University field hockey team dropped a 5-0 decision at Bucknell University Saturday morning in Lewisburg, Pa. at Graham Field.

Bucknell opened the scoring 13:19 into the game when Katie Urosevich took a pass form Anne Lutz to take a 1-0 lead. Just over three minutes later Bucknell's Alex Kyzmir scored off a pass from Amanda Faust. Anne Lutz recorded her second assist of the game when she connected with Callista Costopoulos for Bucknell's third goal of the game at the 20:29 mark. Bucknell made the score 4-0 at the 29:08 mark when Jacquie Kataneksza, ended the scoring for the first half. Emily Hutchison scored the lone goal of the second half at the 69:52 mark of the game, giving Bucknell a 5-0 victory.

Kate Dunlap (Centerport, Pa. / Schuylkill Valley) made twelve saves in the Robert Morris net.

Bucknell held a 27-0 advantage in shots and an 11-0 edge in penalty corners.

The Colonials, under the guidance of third-year head coach Lisa Bell, return to action Sept. 2 vs. Seton Hill at Joe Walton Stadium. Game is slated to begin at noon.
