Moon Township, Pa. / Montour Heights C.C.?The Robert Morris University women's golf team finds itself in seventh place after the first round of the seven-team Third Annual Holiday Inn Pittsburgh Airport Colonial Classic held at Montour Heights Country Club Monday.

Montour Heights, ranked one of the Top 50 Toughest Courses in America by Golf Digest in 2007, is playing an average of 17.13 strokes over par through the first round. The greens at the 6,120-yard, par-72 layout rolled fast and punished any poorly judged putts.

Three other Penguin players are tied for third and have the frontrunning YSU squad ahead by 25 strokes over IUPUI (346) and Fairfield (346). Mount St. Mary's is one stroke back at 347 followed by Chicago State (349), Saint Francis (Pa.) (354) and Robert Morris (367).

Freshman Cassie Stein (Lewiston, N.Y. / Nichols School) leads Robert Morris after a round of 87, placing her in a tie for 14th.
