RMU Drops Pair of Matches in Cleveland

Cleveland, Ohio - The Robert Morris University women's tennis team dropped a pair of dual matches this past weekend in Cleveland, Ohio, falling to Case Western, 7-0, Friday, Feb. 22, before suffering a 7-0 setback at Cleveland State Sunday, Feb. 24. The pair of losses drops the Colonials to 0-4 in dual match action on the 2007-08 campaign.  

Against Case Western junior Kali Delorie (Canonsburg, Pa. / Peters Township) dropped a 6-1, 6-3 decision to Kristen Ko in singles action at the No.1 flight, while senior Libby Shaw (Lower Burrell, Pa. / Burrell) battled Marta Worwag at No. 2 before falling, 6-4 and 6-1. At the No. 4 singles, senior Gwen Dalphon (Elkton, Md. / Bohemia Manor) dropped a 6-3, 6-3 decision to Sin Chu.

Robert Morris travels to Fort Wayne, Indiana, for a pair of matches Friday, Feb. 29, and Saturday, March 1, for its next opposition. The Colonials will face IPFW Friday morning before taking on Western Kentucky Saturday afternoon.
