The Robert Morris Colonials (8-10, 5-2 NEC) will try to continue a season-best three-game when streak when they travel to Teaneck, N.J., to take on Fairleigh Dickinson (4-12, 3-4 NEC) in a 4:30 p.m. Northeast Conference game Saturday, January 24. The Colonials are 7-1 at home, but have struggled to the tune of 1-9 in games away from the Charles L. Sewall Center. Fairleigh Dickinson has lost five straight heading into Saturday's game including a pair of home losses.

Robert Morris leads the all-time series against Fairleigh Dickinson with a 24-20 advantage in 44 all-time meetings. The Colonials have won eight straight contests dating back thte 2004-05 season after losing seven of the previous eight. These two teams have met every since 1984-85. RMU won that inaugural contest on the road, besting the Knights, 88-75. RMU head coach Sal Buscaglia 9-1 against FDU, his only loss coming by 12 points in his first season, 2003-04.

Fairleigh Dickinson has lost five straight games heading into Saturday afternoon's contest and sit with a 4-12 overall mark and a 3-4 record in NEC games. The Knights are averaging 53-.7 points per game game, shooting 33.3 percent from the field and 29.5 percent from long range. Defensvely, they allow 65.6 points a game and have a 39.5 field goal percentage defense. the most glaring statistic is rebounding margin - the Knights are being outrebounded by 8.7 per game. Offensively, Mariyah Laury leads a trio of Knights in double-digit scoring. She averages 14.4 per game followed by Christy Altamirano who pours in 12.2 per game and leads the squad at 8.1 boards a contest. Alyssa Mayrose chips in with 10.2 points.
