MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's basketball team landed three players on the 2025-26 Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators for their success on and off the court this season. Seniors
Noa Givon and
Bailey Kuhns, along with Sophomore
Myriam Traore, represent the three Colonials on this year's Academic All-District Team.
Traore, a sophomore from Lognes, France, had a breakout season for the Colonials in her first season in red and blue, highlighted by her selection to the Horizon All-League Third Team. Traore was the Colonials' second-highest scorer with 352 points on the season for an average of 11.7 points per game. On the season, Traore shot 45.5% from the floor and 34.7% from beyond the arc. She led the Colonials in field goals made (130) and was tied for first in 3-point field goals made (42). Traore is currently studying PR and Advertising at RMU.
Givon, a senior from Ra'anana, Israel, appeared in all 30 games for the Colonials this season while earning six starts. Givon averaged 22.0 minutes per game for RMU. On the season, Givon posted 176 points, averaging 5.9 points per game as a guard. On the glass, Givon averaged 2.1 rebounds per game, pulling down 57 in the 2025-26 season. Givon will graduate from RMU with a degree in Sports Management.
Rounding out the award winners is senior
Bailey Kuhns. Kuhns hails from Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, and will be graduating from RMU with a degree in Education. Kuhn was a force for the Colonials this season, starting in all 30 contests for the Colonials with an average of 22.9 points per game. Kuhns finished third on the team in scoring with 292 points, averaging 9.7 per game, while being second on the team in rebounds with 155 on the season, averaging 5.2 per game. Kuhns was selected as a 2026 Horizon League Sportsmanship Award Finalist.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Members of the CSC All-District Team must have a 3.50 grade-point average and be a starter or key reserve during the 2025-26 season. Honorees must be a sophomore both academically and athletically.
Traore was selected to advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. She will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced April 14 (men) and April 15 (women).
