Moon Township, Pa. ? In the final weekly awards of the 2009 season, freshman Alexa Bryson (Greensburg, Pa. / Greater Latrobe) of the Robert Morris University softball team was tabbed NEC Rookie of the Week. Bryson, who also picked up a Pitcher of the Week award in March, helped lead the Colonials past Quinnipiac on Saturday to clinch an NEC Tournament berth.
