The Game
The Robert Morris Colonials (6-6, 1-0 NEC) turn their attention to Northeast Conference foes for the remainder of the season, beginning with a 5:00 p.m. contest against Mount St. Mary's (4-7, 0-1) Sunday, January 3, at the Charles L. Sewall Center. The Colonials finished the non-conference portion of their schedule with a mark of 5-6, failing to become just the fourth team in program history to post a winning non-conference mark. The Mountaineers are coming off a hard-fought 10-point loss at Pittsburgh on New Year's Eve and have an overall mark of 4-7.

All-Time Series vs. Mount St. Mary's
Robert Morris and the Mount meet for the 35th time in history Sunday evening with the Mountaineers leading the all-time series, 32-12. The Colonials have made headway over the last six seasons, posting a 9-2 record since the 2004-05 season. RMU watched a seven-game win streak in the series end with a 57-56 loss on a buzzer beater by Sandra Andresson at the Sewall Center last season.

Another "One"
Each of the Colonials last three games have been decided by one point and Robert Morris is 1-2 in that stretch. In 33 seasons prior to this, no one year has seen more than two games decided by one point, much less three in a row. RMU is 8-16 all-time in one-point affairs, 4-4 in games headed by Sal Buscaglia.

Scouting the Mountaineers
The Mount enters Sunday's contest with a 4-7 mark, 0-1 in conference play, following a 10-point loss at Pittsburgh on Thursday. Mount St. Mary's boasts the top scoring defense on the circuit, allowing just 56.8 points per game while holding opponents to 36.0 percent shooting. Offensively, they are scroing 52.1 points per game, hitting at a 35.7 percent clip and 31.6 percent from three-point range. Cassie Cooke has played just the last two games, averaging 15.0 points in the small sample following a 24-point outburst at Pitt. Mary Dunn scoress 11.1 a game and is the team's leading rebounder at 7.4.
