NDIANAPOLIS – The RMU Women's Basketball team has locked in the No. 6 seed in the 2026 Barbasol #HLWBB Championship and will head on the road next Wednesday to faceoff with the No. 5 seed, Purdue Fort Wayne, the league announced on Saturday evening. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Gates Sports Center.
 
TOURNAMENT INFO
The 2026 Barbasol #HLWBB Championship will begin on Monday, March 2, with a Play-In contest between No. 10 seed Milwaukee and No. 11 seed Detroit Mercy at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT in Milwaukee.
 
Every game of the championship will be carried on ESPN networks.
 
The first four rounds will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
The championship game will air on ESPN2 at noon ET on Tuesday, March 10.
 
ROAD AHEAD
The Colonials (18-11, 11-9 HL) will face off with the Mastodons (18-12, 12-8 HL) on Wednesday night, with the winner of the matchup punching their ticket to Indy. Purdue Fort Wayne secured the No. 5 seed over the Colonials with a 71-66 upset over Green Bay, who will be the No. 1 seed in the tournament.
