Robert Morris Falls at Home to IPFW, 7-0

Moon Township, Pa. - The Robert Morris University women's tennis team opened a three-game homestand Friday afternoon with a 7-0 loss to IPFW in a non-conference match. The Colonials slipped to 2-13 overall with the loss.

Freshman Clarissa Chen (Winnipeg, Manitoba / Winnipeg Secondary) played at the No. 2 singles for the second consecutive match, falling to Ingrid Ballus, 6-3 and 6-3.

At the No. 3 singles, freshman Isabella Novella (Santo Andre, Brazil / Santo Andre) fell to Raquel Vescovi, 6-3 and 6-1. 

RMU continues its homestand Saturday, March 27, by returning to Northeast Conference action when it hosts in-state rival Saint Francis (Pa.) for a 10:00 a.m. match. The Colonials will also host NEC foe St. Francis (N.Y.) Sunday, March 28, at 10:00 a.m.
