RMU Ends Fall Schedule At Fighting Camel Classic

Buies Creeck, N.C. / Keith Hills C.C. - The Robert Morris University women's golf team closed out the fall portion of its 2011-12 schedule by finishing 11th at the Fighting Camel Classic hosted by Campbell University. The Colonials finished with a team toal of 1,030 at Keith Hills Country Club's 6,012-yard, par-72 layout in Buies Creek, N.C. 

Senior Elizabeth Wenger (Toledo, Ohio / Whitmer) topped the Colonials finishers in a tie for 43rd. She opened the event with an 82 and ended wtih a team tournament-best 81. Wenger had a total of 249.

Junior Jenna Rinker (Slippery Rock, Pa. / Slippery Rock) posted 84 in each of the final two rounds of the event after opening with an 85. Her 254 total put her in a tie for 53rd. Freshman Sarah Weber (Hudson, Ohio / Hudson) improved in each round finishing with an 83 after an 88 and opening round 91. She was 59th with a 262 total.

Sophomore Annie Bozich (Aliquippa, Pa. / Center) was 62nd as she totaled 266. Bozich carded rounds of 90, 87 and 89. Sophomore Alee Everman (Dayton, Ohio / Centerville) shot an 88 in the final round after withdrawing in each of the first two rounds.
