The Game
The Robert Morris University Colonials (9-5, 3-0
Northeast Conference) look to run their Northeast Conference record to 4-0 when
they visit Smithfield, R.I., to take on the Bryant Bulldogs (9-5, 2-1 NEC) in a
7:00 p.m. contest Monday, January 9. The Colonials are coming off a 14-point
victory at Central Connecticut State that saw five players score in
double-digits. Bryant knocked off two-time defending NEC champ Saint Francis
Friday afternoon.

Five In Double-Digits
Five players scored in double-digits for the first time
in 107 games as the Colonials knocked off Central Connecticut State Saturday
afternoon. Briannica Tye (20), Kelly Hartwell (18), April Williams (17), Mary Durojaye (14) and Atemis Spanou (10) all tallied double-digits in the game. RMU
had six players scored at least 10 points in the 2008 NEC Championships game
against LIU Brooklyn (3.16.08).
The Series vs. Bryant
The Colonials are 3-0 all-time against the Bulldogs in a
series that dates back to the 2008-09 season. RMU won the inaugural meeting at
the Sewall Center, 91-80. Robert Morris is 2-0 against Bryant at home and won
the only meeting at Chace Athletic Center in 2010.
