Kettering, Ohio / NCR Country Club - The Robert Morris
University women's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of its 2012-13
schedule with a 12th place finish at the Dayton Invitational. The
36-hole event was played on the 7,000-yard par-71 layout at NCR Country Club in
Kettering, Ohio.
Senior Jenna Rinker (Slippery Rock, Pa. / Slippery Rock)
led the Colonials by tying for 32nd overall. She opened the event
with a 79 ad then cut one stroke from that total in the second round for a 157
total. Junior Alee Everman (Dayton, Ohio / Centerville) matched Rinker's 79 in
the opening round then fired a matching score in the second round putting her
in a tie for 36th.
Junior Annie Bozich (Aliquippa, Pa. / Center) and
freshman Halley Morell (Brecksville, Ohio / Brecksville-Broadview Heights) both
shot 168 to tie for 72nd. Bozich opened with and 83 and finished
with a 85 while Morell cut four strokes from her opening round 86 for an 82 in
the second round. Sophomore Sarah Weber (Hudson, Ohio / Hudson) rounded out the
RMU contingent in 82nd. She shot 85-86.
