The Robert Morris Colonials women's soccer team heads to
western New York to take on the Bulls of Buffalo in the Niagara Fall Classic.
Game time is slated to be 4:00 p.m Niagara Field. The Colonials are 0-7-1 on
the season and are coming off a loss to Colorado College. The Bulls are 1-4-1
on the season and in their most recent contest lost in double overtime to
Niagara. The Bulls only win has come against Canisius. Both teams are looking
to break three-game losing streaks.
Series
RMU is 1-2-0 all-time against the Bulls. This matchup dates
back to 1993, a match that resulted in a lopsided victory for the Bulls. After
another setback in 1994, the Colonials resumed a 16-year layoff in the series
with a 3-1 victory in 2010.

Scouting the Bulls
Buffalo is off to a 1-4-1 start to the 2012 season and has a
win against Canisius, a tie against St. Bonaventure and losses against Colgate,
Bucknell, Youngstown State and Niagara. The Bulls were picked to finish third
in the 2012 Preseason MAC Conference Coaches' Poll. As far as offense, the
Bulls look to sophomore Katie Roberts who leads the team in goals with two,
points with four and shares the team lead in shots with 11The team lead in
assists is between three players - senior Katie Kerr, junior Stephanie Velez
and senior Taylor Thompson all have one assist on the season. The Bulls have
lost three straight games.
