Moon Township, Pa. – Robert Morris University women's soccer seniors
Johanna Kadam (Germantown, Md. / Northwest) and
Alexa Sarsfield (Springdale, Pa. / Springdale) were named to the 2013 All-Northeast Conference Women's Soccer Team. Kadam, a midfielder, was named to the first team while Sarsfield earned the nod as a second team defender.
Kadam is now a two-time All-NEC selection after being named to the second team squad as a junior. Despite missing four games, Kadam finished second on the team with 12 points while leading the squad with a career-best five goals. The senior finished her career on a high note, tallying a goal and an assist in the team's season ending 5-0 win. Kadam had 24 points on eight goals and eight assists in 68 career matches.
Sarsfield is an all-league selection for the first time in her career after anchoring the center of a defense that posted five shutouts. Dangerous on free kicks both with her leg and aerial ability, she finished the year with one assist. The Springdale, Pa.-native had five points in each of her previous two seasons, finishing her career with four goals and four assists in 71 games, almost all as a central back.
Robert Morris finished the season 5-9-4 overall.
