Moon Township, Pa. / Charles L. Sewall Center — Robert Morris University women's basketball freshman forward
Cassie Oursler (Grand Island, N.Y. / Grand Island) picked up her first career double-double in a losing effort against Colgate at the Charles L. Sewall Center Saturday evening. The Raiders (4-5) outscored the Colonials (3-5) 40-27 in the second half to secure a 68-61 win, their third victory in a row.
Â
Oursler finished the game with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Senior forward
Artemis Spanou (Rhodes, Greece / Nea Smyrni) led all players with 16 points and 12 rebounds to extend the NCAA's second-longest streak of double-doubles to 32 games. Spanou added three steals, two assists and a block.

Sophomore
Ashley Ravelli (Milano, Italy / The Hun School) chipped in 10 points to go with three assists. Redshirt-junior
Jolie Olingende (Kinshasha, Democratic Republic of the Congo / Arizona Western) had one of her best showings of the season with five points and six rebounds.
Â
Robert Morris erased a two-point deficit with a 19-9 run that extended over the final five minutes of the first half and four minutes into the second half to take a 42-33 lead early in the game's second frame. Oursler had eight points during the surge as RMU went 8-of-15 from the field.
Â
Colgate went on an 8-0 run over the next four minutes as the Colonials missed six consecutive shots and had three turnovers in a four-minute stretch. The Raiders eventually tied the game at 46 when Carole Harris knocked down a pair of free throws for two of her nine points.
Â
A trey by Ravelli and a pair from the chalk by Spanou broke the tie and put RMU briefly back on top. Trailing by three, Colgate would march to the line six times over a three-minute stretch and a use a three-pointer by Missy Repoli to fuel a 10-0 run and take the lead, 60-53, with 3:44 to go.
Â
Robert Morris was able to cut the lead to two points, 63-61, in the final minute, but Carol Harris answered with a tough bank shot and Lauryn Kobiela put the game away at the chalk with three of her team-high 15 points.
Â
The Colonials shot 51.9 percent (14-27) in the first half as they surged to a 34-28 lead at the break. The back-and-forth opening frame featured 13 lead changes before RMU closed the first act on an 8-0 run.
Â
Robert Morris has not been outrebounded this season, beating Colgate, 40-38, on the glass.
Â
The Colonials return to the hardwood Wednesday, Dec. 18, for a 7:00 p.m. game against crosstown-rival Duquesne at the A.J. Palumbo Center.
