Daytona Beach, Fla. / LPGA International - The Robert Morris University women's
golf team sits fifth at the Lonnie Barton Invitational through two rounds of
three-round event at the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla. A pair of
freshmen, Gianna Pro (Harrison City, Pa. / Penn Trafford) and Halley Morell
(Brecksville, Ohio / Brecksville-Broadview Heights), are leading the Colonials.
Pro, who participated in the event as an individual is
tied for, was fourth after the initial 18 holes before finding herself in a tie for
10th place following her second round 89. Morell matched the second round 89 of Pro to take15th after adding her
first round score of 84.
Senior Jenna Rinker (Slippery Rock, Pa. / Slippery Rock) carded an 87 in each round to put herself in a tie for 16th place. Sophomore
Sarah Weber (Hudson, Ohio / Hudson)finished one stroke back overall after rounds of
86 and 89 to put her 18th overall.
Junior Annie Bozich (Aliquippa, Pa. / Center) cut five
strokes from her first round score of 92 to post an 87 Tuesday and put herself
in 23rd. Senior Tess Wolfe (Beaver Falls, Pa. / Blackhawk) stook 26th with rounds
of 90 and 91. Playing as an individual, sophomore Tori Zachman (Hampstead, Md.
/ North Carroll) was 30th.
