Daytona Beach, Fla. / LPGA International – The Robert Morris University women's golf remains in ninth place at the 2013 Northeast Conference Women's Golf Championship after finding five strokes in second round action at the LPGA International Legends Course Saturday.
Freshman Halley Morell (Brecksville, Ohio / Brecksville-Broadview Heights) remains the top player among the Colonials five. She slipped two strokes from her first round score, carding an 84 Saturday to move her total to 166. She is tied for 27th.
Senior Jenna Rinker (Slippery Rock, Pa. / Slippery Rock) found seven strokes from her first round score, improving from an 87 to and 80. She is one stroke back of Morell in a tie for 30th. Senior Tess Wolfe (Beaver Falls, Pa. / Blackhawk) is tied for 33rd. She carded an 84 for the second consecutive day, giving her a 168 total for the event.
Freshman Gianna Pro (Harrison City, Pa. / Irwin) also matched her first round output, putting an 87 on the board for the second straight day. She's tied for 42nd. Sarah Webber (Hudson, Ohio / Hudson) rounds out the RMU contingent with a second round that puts her all alone in 49th.
